first things first: i’m a licensed acupuncturist (la.c) in south carolina and a doctor of oriental medicine (dom) in florida, and not a medical doctor.
i was trained in contemporary oriental medicine and graduated with a professional degree in acupuncture and herbal medicine at the age of 21.
since then i’ve performed over 100,000 visits in multiple wellness centers on thousands of patients.

later, i devoted many years to studying dr. scott walker, dc’s neuro emotional technique, applied kinesiology, george gonzalez’ quantum neurology, dr. j dunn’s my happy genes, the institute of functional medicine, functional medicine university, dr. mcmakin’s frequency specific microcurrent – and more, in order to have a robust skillset to serve the client population that walked through my clinic doors.
i’m a passionate entrepreneur who graduated from the academy of entrepreneurship at buchholz high school and started my first successful business at age 11, renting out inner tubes to tourists going tubing at the rainbow river in dunnellon, florida out of my father’s napa auto parts store.
after founding & running multiple successful practices in florida, i’m purposefully keeping spark health charleston intimate to create an almost concierge-style environment for discerning clients.
i’m an enthusiastic reader (especially the dune series and dumas’ three musketeers), martial artist, nature enthusiast, natural-born traveler, rothko appreciator, and bts army 💜.
at age 20, i had a life threatening illness and experienced many complications that impacted my daily life. i understand the fear & frustration of chronic illness, and the burning desire to live a full life.
i’m devoted to my craft and committed to those who commit to their own healing journey.
i had a patient who told her doctor it hurts to smile. they looked at her like she was crazy and she stopped mentioning it and suffered for years.
a few months after starting care with me, she decided to try again, and told me during one of our sessions.
i said ‘huh. interesting. let’s see what we can do.’ (spoiler: it involved neurological rehabilitation of cranial nerves)
now she smiles as she likes, pain-free.
